Vision Wood Insight Collection is a line of prefinished engineered North American White Oak available in 12 different colors. This collection of flooring is manufactured from responsibly sourced North American White Oak and is 100% American made and finished.

Vision Woodâ€™s Insight collection of North American White Oak flooring comes from decades of our hardwood flooring research. The cut and graining of our North American White Oak is created from the Vision Wood method of cutting wood. Some call it “French Cutâ€, but in America it is often referred as “Live Sawn”. This cutting method displays the tree in all its grandeur. It also allows for knotting, for cathedral grain more towards the centers of the boards and for straight grain on the edges of the pieces. The coloration of our North American White Oak flooring is more consistent and has less sap (blonde) characteristics. Our Insight Collection is not just pieces of wood for flooring, it is exemplary of the full nature of true North American White oak trees.

We choose our North American White oak from the farthest of the northernmost regions of America, where it is the slowest growing.Â Slowing growing North American White oak trees allow for tighter grain pattern and more consistent coloration. Vision Woodâ€™s center cut white oak material is designed to make flooring. Our process is not so simple; we begin with an end in mindâ€”North American White oak Flooringâ€”to create the best and finest flooring anywhere!

We revere the tree, the resource and the environment where it is harvested. We selectively cut our trees making sure for the next generations support and growth.Â Absolutely 0% of our trees come from clear cut lands. We support the landowner, the forester, the logger, the sawmill, the kiln operators, the mouldrights, the finishers, and the package handlers.Â All of the Vision WoodÂ team is in alignment of the source, the process and of course, in reverence to the North American White oak tree.

The state of the art adhesive is pre-applied to the back of the boards and the Quiet-Floor can be installed on all substrates. Installation is quick, easy, and clean. One of the big advantages of this adhesive technology is that it makes our floors Quietâ€”at least 50% more silent than a floor with a traditional installation method.
